Post scrumptious breakfast, today we will take you for sightseeing in Srinagar. First, we will head for the famous and ancient Shankaracharya Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It derived its name from the revered Hindu saint Adi Shankaracharya who attained enlightenment at this place. Located at an elevation of 1100 feet above sea level, it also offers an amazing view of the city.
Next on the itinerary is the famous Mughal garden Shalimar Bagh boasting amazing architecture, lovely flowers, fountains and a serene ambiance to relax and just enjoy the beauty. This garden was built in 1619 by the Mughal emperor.
Then we will head to the Chashme Shahi, another magnificent garden winning hearts with its arresting terrace garden, pools of water, walkways, and a variety of plants. Later in the early evening, you can again explore the markets of Srinagar or just take a leisurely walk around.
After that, we will take you to the Nigeen Lake, a wonderful deep blue water lake with delightful surroundings. Take a shikara ride here and treat your senses with its beauty. It is known as ‘The Jewel in the Ring’. Stay overnight at the luxurious hotel in Srinagar.
Check out from the hotel after delicious breakfast. Now we will head for Pahalgam Valley, the next wonderful tourist destination on your Kashmir luxury tour for 4N 5D. As we drive to the valley, En route you will pass by the saffron fields which teem with bright purple flowers in season. What a sight to behold! After a lip-smacking breakfast, check out from the premium hotel and leave for Gulmarg Valley. After arrival in Gulmarg, check into the luxurious hotel, relax for some time and then get ready to explore it. Gulmarg is known as the ‘Meadow of Flowers’ and is also a great adventure destination. First, we will visit Alpather Lake located between the twin mountains Alpather. The lake is around 13 km from the valley and is an amazing place surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Its gorgeous green terrain is a treat for the eyes. The lake remains frozen from November to June. The next attraction for the day is Gulmarg Biosphere Reserve, home to some exotic and rare species of animals such as musk deer, snow leopard, etc. In the evening, head back to the premium hotel for an overnight stay.
